Ramadan Community Iftar

Masjid Al Jameel welcomes the community to join us for Ramadan Iftar gatherings.
Dates and water will be served before Maghrib prayer. Families and community members are encouraged to attend and break their fast together.
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive.”
(Qur’an 76:8)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُون
“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that you may become righteous.

The first Khatam-ul-Qur’an was completed at Masjid Al Jameel on Monday, March 9, 2026.
The second Khatam-ul-Qur’an is scheduled for the last fast of Ramadan, followed by a special du’a.
Taraweeh prayers continue nightly after Isha until the end of Ramadan.
